Priorities

What I'll focus on for Ward 4.

Two major themes, a clear approach to growth — shaped by the conversations I have with Ward 4 neighbours every day.

Safety & infrastructure lag

We need immediate, practical action for safer streets — especially for our kids. Safety has to be year-round and built into how the town grows.

  • Real traffic calming around every Ward 4 school.
  • More crossing guards in busy school areas.
  • Dedicated, safe spaces for children riding scooters and bicycles.
  • Reliable, proactive snow clearing around schools, sidewalks, and crosswalks so children aren't forced to walk on icy roads.
  • Address parking and infrastructure bottlenecks before high-density growth overwhelms our roads.

Responsible development & protecting our neighbourhoods

Ward 4 is growing fast. Growth has to be matched with the parks, green space, and community infrastructure that make our neighbourhoods great places to live.

  • Ensure new residential developments are matched with expanded parks, green spaces, and community centres.
  • Stand up for neighbours to make sure massive regional infrastructure projects have the lowest possible impact on our local environment and daily lives.
  • Hold developers and the town accountable to what's been promised.
