About

Meet Ginni.

Financial Services Specialist, mom of two, and longtime community volunteer running to be your voice on Milton Town Council.

My story

For nearly ten years, Ward 4 has been the place I've called home. It's where my family has put down roots, where my children go to school, and where I've spent countless hours volunteering alongside neighbours and other parents.

Professionally, I'm a Financial Services Specialist with a combined 18 years of experience in banking, workforce management, planning and operations. My day job is about handling complex logistics, balancing strategic budgets, and bringing people together to solve problems — the exact, practical skills we need in an effective Town Councillor.

First-time candidate

This is my first time running for office — and I see that as a strength. I'm not a career politician. I'm coming at this with a fresh perspective, a listening ear, and a heart full of intention to serve my community.

Community & service

Co-Chair, Rattlesnake Point Public School Council

For the past three years, I've worked closely with parents, teachers, and administrators to enhance our students' educational environment — advocating for school safety, better resources, and helping lead fundraising initiatives.

Volunteer, Halton Breastfeeding Connections

I've been an active volunteer with Halton Breastfeeding Connections for years, supporting and encouraging new moms. Helping families feel supported and confident during those early months is a cause very close to my heart.

Community engagement

Involved in local community-building initiatives that promote inclusion, bring neighbours together, and support Milton families — including Cultural Night and local sports tournaments.

Ward 4 advocate

A resident for nearly a decade, deeply committed to being the voice of our local neighbourhood — advocating for safer roads, better parks, and keeping our community a wonderful place to live.

Why I'm running

Ward 4 is one of the fastest-growing parts of Milton. With that growth come real, everyday concerns I hear about constantly from neighbours: safety around our schools, parking and traffic, parks and green space that keep up with our families, and a Town Hall that's easy to reach when you need it.

I'm running because Ward 4 deserves a councillor who lives these issues every day — and who will show up, listen, and act.
